I got into trouble I think for talking to my chickens too loudly

ChickensAreSweet, I want you to go over there and ask if you are disturbing them. My neighbors were out playing with an airhorn a while back; they really are not within earshot of us except for crowing or heavy machinery, and I hear crowing coming from the area of their house. Maybe your neighbors weren't sending you a message at all.

This was before I married him, and I'm the forgive and forget kind of person. But I don't think hubby wants me giving them eggs- it would open the door to all kinds of heartache for us he says.

I really think this is why I received the horn treatment.

Ddawn, I hope this explains why I really don't want to confront him. I would be on the phone apologizing to them if it were another neighbor.
