I got my first Deer!

Wow, what a weekend it has been and to top it off yesterday I got my first deer.
A 4 point buck!

and boy does he have nice legs, hams to be exact......

Nice Deer. As a Hunter Ed. instructor we are having a lot more ladies take up the sport of hunting. It brings me joy to be in a store & have someone who took my class come up to me & share there photos & stories, as they recognize me as their instructor. Again, nice deer & congratulations.

She did great getting it, one shot with a .243 right at 200 yards. Nice clean kill. It dropped about 100 feet from where she hit it. I was backing her up and when I saw her shot hit there was no need for me to shoot.
