


Young layers need time to grow and mature. Each bird and breed is different, however the eggs should start to come regular in the next couple of months.

Yes I said ground, (not in the nice hen boxes I fixed up for them that they continually throw the hay out of , That have little fake eggs in )
But yay it’s super small , orpingtons lay larger eggs so I looked that up and it said at first they lay smaller eggs so that’s great !!!!! I was scared I had tony egg layers lol I put it up next to a white egg I had bought from the store
