I got my first sheep! I think one ewe is about to lamb!!! help!

Did you want to see pics of lambs AS they arrive or WHEN they arrive? I have pics of my Kat having her first last year if you are interested.

when the arrive probably. i just want to see the cute little lambs. But if you have pics of a kat ewe before she had the baby that would be good too.

The katahdin sheep breeder down the road from me called my mom and offered a bottle lamb! she said yes. He is RR and is from the best of the best genetics. He was just born last night and we are getting him next week. I am so excited about getting to bottle feed a lamb. We are going to start building a pen for the little lamb to sleep in the garage and we are getting the bottle and nipples for the lamb tommorow from TSC.
I will post pics as soon as we get the lamb.

I am hoping i will use this lamb as a breeder ram to the 5 ewes i already have once they are ready to have lambs again next year.

Please reconsider keeping a bottlefed ram. They are extremely dangerous.

You can buy milk bars or rig a way for the bottle to be attached to a wall, so he doesnt think he is human. People get seriously hurt and killed every year by bottle babies.
