I Grew Purple Potatoes!

OMG! Look at these! I dug up just two of the plants so far.

Purple taters with mini gourds and an ambercup squash

Sliced

I put some with a sliced onion in some foil with Italian dressing, some rosemary then sealed it up and threw it on the grill with my Mesquite chicken wings.

Did you mean to grow purple taters, or did they just end up purple. And if you did mean to grow them where did you find em' I would love to serve some at a church social?

Gorgeous! My neighbor used to grow different varieties. It sure makes a pretty plate of food. Are they "ALL Blues" "Blue tomcats" or "Purple Peruvian" ??? So curious they are gorgeous.

Which reminds me, since I only have to work a half-day today, I'm going home now to start digging the area for our fourth raised bed. Maybe future potato-land!

Those are great, I just picked some of my purple and blue potatoes yesterday.

There is alot of variety of colored potatoes, go on some sites like Wood Prairie Farm and you can order seed potatoes.
