I promised to not tell anybody, on account it would blow his image. But my Mr is so cute with these babies! He's protective of them, he pets them and plays with them. He let one fall asleep in his beard. TO FREAKING CUTE! In fact those are his hands in the picture. He insisted on holding them because they were scared by the camera!

I'm supposed to pick up 31 chicks tomorrow from the feed store. I'm terribly afraid that a few more might "accidentally" leap into the box with the 31 and find their way home to us.

We already have ... let's see ... grumble .... 20 3-wk-old bantams .... 5 6-week-old black australorp/mix ... and 10 hatching even as I write! We already have 12 adults. Do I **NEED** anymore!
