Good afternoon,
I had to put my youngest duckling in the brooder with our new baby because the other 2 are significantly larger and they peck at her a bit and have a hard bite.
I don’t think they are trying to hurt her, but it could happen..
I put her in this morning at 7:30, and she’s been SCREAMING nonstop since then.
I’m trying to work and I feel like I’m going to lose my mind!
Anyone with ducklings know that they can be VERY LOUD!
I fully understand she bonded with the other 3, and misses them, but I’m doing this for her own good.
She now has a companion closer to her age, and my baby needs a companion as well. I felt so bad that she was all alone.
Does anyone have any advice?
Should I put her back and take the chance of her getting hurt?
Should I buy some earplugs?
Here a pictures of the size difference.
Thank you so much!!!!
