Good afternoon,
I had to put my youngest duckling in the brooder with our new baby because the other 2 are significantly larger and they peck at her a bit and have a hard bite.
I don’t think they are trying to hurt her, but it could happen..
I put her in this morning at 7:30, and she’s been SCREAMING nonstop since then.
I’m trying to work and I feel like I’m going to lose my mind!
Anyone with ducklings know that they can be VERY LOUD!
I fully understand she bonded with the other 3, and misses them, but I’m doing this for her own good.
She now has a companion closer to her age, and my baby needs a companion as well. I felt so bad that she was all alone.
Does anyone have any advice?
Should I put her back and take the chance of her getting hurt?
Should I buy some earplugs?
Here a pictures of the size difference.
Thank you so much!!!!

does the other very little duckling seem happy to have a friend or is she as distressed as the middle sized duckling? Also do they have names? It’d make it easier to tell you which duckling I’m talking about!! Well anyway good luck!
