I always get exhausted and depressed in the cold weather. It makes me want to do nothing, but climb in a fetal position and cover up. I would move to a warmer climate in a second! It is so sad because it hasn't even been that cold this year yet. AAAAHHHHH where's the warmth!

I am there with you! I was just saying...after New Year's I am SO ready for warm weather! It's been real cold here...negative 5 this morning! Brrr! The sun is out but the wind blows at 14mph which makes the 14 degrees we have now feel more like 0! Nice, huh?

You are NOT alone!

I'm ready for some sunshine too. I miss having grass in the back yard for the dogs to run on, now it's all just mud and we are all stuck in the house. Spring will be here in a few months...we just have to hang in there.

After 30 years in New York, (snow, leaves, snow leaves) we moved to Florida. It's much easier to put up with the 4 months of oppressive heat than the cold the snow the ice etc. We have 8 months now of near perfect weather. I watch the news and see the blizzards and cold, and just chuckle to myself!

GA is a great state to experience all the seasons...even winter, but not to the extreme.
The summers are hot and very humid, but over all the weather is pretty mild here. Of course we are now experiencing the worst drought in over 100 years. So I guess everywhere has it's pros and cons.
Hatching chicks sounds like a great way to brighten your day.

Die hard Yankee winter lover here. The only problem now is that I can't physically do what I used to be able to as far as shoveling snow. I have a barn to shovel out and just so much more but I still love the cold!!! I love to walk out into it and feel it on my face, it rejuvinates me. Humdity hot humid heat just zaps my well being and I am miserable and pray for cooler weather. I honestly do not think that I could live without it. Ok, so far I am the only oddball on this post!

I am no fan of winter/ snow either so I thought living in NM would be great !! I do love the heat and I mean HEAT in the summer and the dry air - its a little rough on the garden but I dont mind getting the hose out - but the winters can be a little confusing this time last year I was coverd in a thick layer of ice and freezing rain and snow and wet and cold BRRRR this winter it stayed in the upper 60-70's I was still running the a/c in Oct ! heck I put up the halloween decorations in shorts- and some of the christmas decorations to. We have had a fews days here and there that gave us some snow but it was gone in like 24 hrs. Today the high is 37 with the wind blowing alittle, but the sun is out ( so confusing LOL ) I still cant wait for spring to start planting and summer to start sweating LOL
