I hate leghorns

This is an OOOOOOOLLLLDDDD thread. I just responded because the post was funny.

I've seen people show up just to say things like this and then disappear. Smh...
I know it's an old thread, but this is not the first or first handful of times that that rant has been posted and I'm afraid it finally got to me.

Gotcha. I feel that.

If it makes you feel any better, I think this person is a youngster. And it's ironic that she talks this way yet puts dresses and sunglasses on her chicken.... Just sayin...

Her heart's in the right place, but I wouldn't take it personally.

Excuse me I’m am 35 years old I am married and have a full time job. I don’t blame you probably thought I was young but it’s the truth is they do have feelings. I mentions and feel grief I did some resarch In them of course I’ve been born and raised with chickens so. I know a lot of chickens that communicate with me in a way and that show grief to the ones that pass even on my collage before I became a veterinarian. On poultry I’ve talked to poultry behaviorist researchers. Did some research myself on google. Ok I even to this day have my own chicken I dressed her up because me and my daughter thought it was hilarious😂 so I would not make any assumptions but this comment is no hate I was just trying to say that I’m am not Child and putting any anmial to freezer camp because hens suffer from laying eggs if you notice so it’s kinda wrong in my opinion to bother them after they have sufferd with eggs and they were not even breed to lay as munch eggs as people made they once laced 16 eggs a years but because of human shellfishes they now lay more Eggs that’s they should. Laying eggs for a hen is in intensive labor process. Like a female mammal a hens pierod egg production is the same. And in nature there so post replenish that nurtional. But now we have layer pellets and oyster shells which do. But they still feel pain while laying. So please. No hate do not take this offensive please. I hope I don’t sound mean or rude because that’s not the intentions okay. You can do more research about eggs. You can search up what’s wrong with eating eggs. But of course we have layer pellets and oyster shells so it’s not wrong to collects eggs. But it still no right to kill. Chickens may show no signs of pain or not feel but it’s like a labor to them but painless. And they feel uncomfortable laying eggs. I know again my punction and grammar horrible but Im trying to get an my opinion problem fixed instead of write it to my job interview ok.
Ok. My bad. Still coming off a little unhinged. People will listen if you communicate more clearly. I'm 43, married, 3 adult children, and I'm an English teacher, so you can see why grammar matters to me. I'm also Buddhist, so I'm not disagreeing with your sentiments. But the way argument works is that people won't pay much heed to someone lacking ethos. You probably won't change anyone's mind by berating them.

For example, if I went off on you about your poor grammar and called you names, you would just tune me out. And the one argument with which you take issue is advocating for the preservation of rare species. Not sure that's a bad thing. And while I don't eat chickens, if people who do at least treat them humanely while they live, I figure it's a step in the right direction. Backyard enthusiasts and small scale farmers are not your enemies, but they will be if you drag out your soapbox and lecture them when your opinions weren't requested.

That's all I'm saying: package your thoughts better and you will enjoy more sway.
