I hate people who forget that you are working night shift.

I've been working Rotating Shift work for years. No one understands that doesn't work it too. I did have one persistent salesman wanting to talk to me, I finally told him, give me your home number and I'll call you. He wasn't very happy with the 2 A.M. phone call with me telling him "I'm wide awake now, what did you want?"
I really didn't want anything he was selling anyway, just had to balance the karma.

I feel for ya! I worked 8pm to 8am & I've never been able to sleep during the day. Just when I'd finally drop from exhaustion, knocking on the door by the infamous door-knocking religious group with their pamplets.

Finally had to hang a sign with skull & bones promising death to anyone who woke me!

Sometimes a call from my Mom an hour after I fell asleep..."oh I thought you were off today".

After I was awake, there was no going back.

So glad I work 9-5 now!!

I worked nights when younger and with babies too. I hated it so much that I changed jobs to something else. I would have to be desperate and hungry to work nights again.
