The silkies are using their silkie mind control to enslave those poor little (giant, I mean) chickens. They're using them to demolish our buildings, cities and wipe out most of mankind. Then, the silkies will use their silkie telekinetic powers to use the debris to build their own cities, and then control our minds with their cuteness and make us act like chickens. The other breeds of chickens are under control, too.

Even if a human being was to break free of their fluff spell, no one can try to kill a silkie.
