As for the original post....I don't know many people that like their voice, whether a recording or on video....

X3 on this one with slight change to the age...Kids dont listen to the fem voice I try to make up nor do the dogs but wow what a response from the real deal guess they don't like it either and they listen so I will shut up...

I have a really deep, gravelly and yet somehow hoarse voice. I am always called Mister- but then I put DH on. His voice is deeper that a basement.

Our answering machine, which we just got has a generic male voice. We have decided to let it do all the answering!

Oh I know how you feel! When I yell at the dogs, something serious, like chasing a chicken or running towards a vehicle coming in the drive, I have to adjust my voice! If one tone doesn't work I try another, if nothing else fails I yell at DH to whistle because I can't!!
