I hate the sound of my own voice

grrrrr! I sound like a young girl... I'm always having telemarketer's ask if my mom or dad is home... what's even worse is I look pretty young as well? I get carded for everything, cigs (dont smoke but hubby just quit recently YAY!) alcohol, paint thinner at walmart! The worse one was one day I was in the middle of spring cleaning, heard a knock on the door... it was one of those guys selling steaks door to door... QUITE attractive by the way..... he asked if my PARENTS WERE HOME. GAH!!! Sighing I replied " I AM the parent."
At 26 I dont appreciate it that much.... Im crossing my fingers for 20 years later luck.

Yeah but when I talk on the phone I sound like a woman..
It does make it easy to imitate my wife when talking on the phone but I hate wearing her clothes.

Okay, I'm a Mustang guy so that sentence took me a while. It made no sense at all, for about a minute. (for those who are not getting *my* post... a "five-oh"is a 5.0 liter V8 and one of the more popular engines, in that car. Sort of extra funny when the cops used that as their highway interceptor. The Five-oh drove a five-oh.)

Too funny! Believe it or not I got it right away! I was married to a mechanic for 10 years AND I drove a 5.0 Mustang
