I hate you TSC!!! i needed a warning!

I stopped in for oyster shell, and instead, was confronted with 6 stock tanks filled with baby chicks and ducks. No giant "Live Chicks' sign outside, it was totally a sneak attack. I barely escaped with my life... and with empty hands. totally forgot the oyster shell! they had light brahmas... some had dots on their heads, is that indicative of gender? if it is, i might have to go back...

I couldn't go to TSC last night, had to send my better half for a bag of chick food, so I wouldn't get more chicks.......lol

I took an hour trip to buy 4 chicks from a friend last week. While there I decided to go to Orscheln's to check out their equipment.
The same thing happened, chicks and ducks galore.
There was a tank of 27 EEs and since I have only 1 Ameraucana I thought I'd get 4 or 5 since I had some new chicks to take care of anyway.
I walked away to get a new waterer, walked back 2 minutes later and someone bought all 27 right under my nose.

TSC is full of traps and pitfalls. I showed the land owner my neato-keeno 70th anniversary edition Red Ryder, we shot a few cat food cans, and we went over to Wal-Mart to buy more of the things, got a bunch of BBS and pellets and stuff, but they were out of the guns. But TSC has them right by the door, for the same price. He got 4.
