It was amazing how they plumped right up after receiving the moisture from the carrots. And warmth after riding around in the UPS truck @ 37 degrees.

Using carrots, you can tell when it's time to change the media out...you'll have a deep layer orange frass.

So 22 days later ... my first beetle. Got lucky with the photo because I just couldn’t find it 10 minutes later.

Collected a few of the adult beetles and put them in a separate tote. I’m getting about 5-6 a day. Spotted many pale/white developing adults...I’m expecting an explosion soon
