I know it can be hard to tell I've had them since hours after they hatched March 15th 2018. 1 is way bigger then the other and 1 has a actual quack the other chirps and whistles do drake tail feather so far but I thought my mainly white one was a girl we named her lulu and the smaller mainly black one is chompers. I was hoping for 2 females as the place I got them from didn't sex them. Thank you in advance!

Our Ancona ducks were hatched March 23rd and 24th, so they are a bit more than a week younger than yours. Our males had their drake feathers begin showing at 12 weeks and were fully showing at 14 weeks. If your ducks are quacking and have no drake feathers, I believe you have females.

The ducks quacking is most certainly different the white is more raspy as where the black one is a very distinct quack. That's why I'm having such a hard time telling I've had ppl tell me it could be longer before I see drake tails and some that say I should see already and then the quacks I'd love 2 females as I dont want ducklings I just want eggs lol this is the best photo I have for now but can get better later if it will help.

My guess is blacky is a female and whitey is a male

I guessed bacuase of what you seid and the shape of their heads

Its also possible that they are experiencing their juvenile molt at this time of year, and drake feathers won't always be evident, even if they should have them by their age.

Quacks are the best guide this young. If you can handle them, sometimes picking one up will cause them to quack. If you don't handle them, walk between them and move them away from each other. Out of each other's sight if possible. They usually will start quacking to get back together.
