I have 9 pips!! UPDATE: I have 9 ducklings!!

I am so excited! This is my first hatch and it looks like 11 out of 12 eggs will make it. It is day 26, my first one pipped 23 hours ago, 9 have pipped now with 2 more getting close! I can't stop staring at the bator!

I have my first ever duckling babies!!!! At 1 am, the first two cayuga duckies decided to hatch together. The third came a little later. My ancona hatched about an hour ago.... the 5th one is hatching right now.... with more on the way!!

The 8th ducky is almost hatched out. The 9th one pipped on the wrong end, but is still working its way out of the shell. We may assist it after the 8th one is out. Eggs 10 & 11 never externally pipped. We checked them and they were both at the wrong end too.

First 3 duckies are in the brooder. They are eating, drinking and getting their legs under them fast.
