Dipsy- that was a cute baby, too! It looks just like little blue but the wrong color.

Congrats on the babies, especially on that particular one!

Lurch is the father- you got it, in order to get blue babies, at least one parent has to be either blue or splash. That's the rule, regardless of breed or mixes. (and yes it's the same blue as in blue orps, etc..)

Also crest is dominant. However the crest is much smaller in crosses but all of these chicks look crestless so maybe Lurch is the father of all.

The littlest one is a serama, rooster.

Rooters 97- the little yellow one is a serema. They are about half the size of a bantam. She is about the size of a chicken nugget that won't be still, OR be quiet! I have never heard so much noise come from something so tiny!
