I have a broody hen and fertile eggs! Help needed!

With mine I waited a few hours before food and water, to give them time to adjust to...... LIFE. I think after 5 or 6 hours I started to worry and began to worry and just left a small dish of chick feed and water. People say they can go for like 2 days without anything?? Not sure but I wouldn't do that, not even for a whole day.... just give them food and water after an hour or two, they will eat and drink when they feel like it. Oh, and people say you should dip their beaks in water so that they can learn how to drink.... I don't think it matters though, as all animals are ingrained to find food and water right from the get-go.

Hey yal! We have 5 chicks!:celebrate:celebrate:wee:jumpy One sadly was dead when I checked on them this morning:hit:hit
We still have 5 eggs left... Don’t know if they’re all going to hatch:fl
I picked up a pet water bottle from the store last night and I hung in in the nesting box just now. I will try to teach them how to use it soon!
