I have a BUFF SILKIE BABY!!! Woohooo!!!

Finally!! This is my third time trying to hatch silkie eggs!! I don't know what I did with the first 2, but I got nothing at all from them. One of the people sent me replacement eggs, and one little buff baby has hatched!!

Plus there are 2 more pips so far!! One pip is from a white egg, and the other is another buff!! That buff had pipped last night, so it's taking it's sweet time

They gotta make you suffer you know!!

But YIPPEE!!! A buff!!! Finally!!!

There are 2 babies now!! 1 buff and 1 cuckoo!! Another one is zipping, and it is either another buff or a white! Please be another buff!!

I just got three baby silkies from my local farm store. I know for sure that 2 are black but I cant tell if the other one if buff or white...

My zipper died!!

And it was a white

I candled the other eggs, cause there was nothing going on, and I'm not sure if any others are going to hatch! My flashlight is taking a dump on me, so it doesn't work very well. Looks like I have some really expensive silkie babies.

Plus the little cuckoo only has 4 toes? Is this normal for cuckoos? I know they can have yellow skin, but 4 toes? That doesn't seem right? It has black skin btw.
