I have a busy hen

First, she is a golden laced wyandotte. She hatched 3 eggs (only 2 lived after 1st week). She has had her 2 kids (1 duck and 1 chicken) for a month and she has abandoned them today. You know why? She is ready for another batch. I have a caretaker (a buff orpington) "watching" the kids (she does not like the duck). I wonder how long will this go on. Will she have kids for another month and then go again? Will she ever stop?

Some hens like to get 3 clutches hatched a year! She will know when to stop but with the weather being nice its the perfect time for her to raise chicks.

It ain't very nice in North Dakota. It is low 50's (nice I guess). We are getting too MUCH rain (If you're in SW North Dakota, you usually NEVER complain about rain, but we are getting too much. We've gotten about 8 inches at LEAST this month (we usually don't get that much rain all summer).
