I have a couple questions

Can a 2 week old chick that is a hen have little spur buds already? I am not sure if this EE is a hen because it is one of the chicks that Dixie hatched. Don't most EE hens have chipmunk patterns? She does and she has barring too. I will get an updated pic of the chick tomorrow.

Yes, both sexes have those, Maxx. The rooster won't even develop real spurs for months.

6 chicks from our first hatch and 4 of them have to be roos.

We are going to keep the Barred EE that hatched though.
