I have a silkie pullet, I do not how old she is. She is a very good mother and very sweet. I have had her in my house for 3 weeks now. She has tearing eyes and sometimes they get matted shut. I have put terramyic ointment in them, I have given her Baytril for 5 days, the vet listened to her chest and said it sounded clear. She will eat sometimes, but seems to be loosing weight. Every morning I think today is the day, if she's not better, my husband needs to cull her, but then she will be up eating and I just don't have the heart. I don't know what to do. I can't seem to get her better. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want her to be suffering either. Or should I have my husband do the deed. Please help me with this. I am at a loss.
