I am new and I have been searching around for information. I have a Lavender Orp that has been walking around like she is drunk, she is eating and drinking normally. I have her separated and giving her Pedialyte, what are the best antibiotics or cheap remedies? thank you

You've actually already done the very best thing - electrolytes. That's always the first step when a chicken seems in distress.

But you need to fill us in with more details. Has she been exposed to below freezing temps? How old is she? Has she been laying?

Is she fluffed up? Is there any discharge from her vent?

Look inside her ears for any crust or discharge.

What has she been doing right before you noticed this drunken behavior? Has she had access to a compost pile where rotten food has been tossed?

How about toxic stuff like paint thinner or motor oil? Has any been tossed out in the area where the chickens have been hanging out?

We are in Florida, no freezing temperatures. I noticed this behavior yesterday when I let them out of the coop into their run for morning goodies she is a year old. They have no access to anything besides what we give them, we are in the city so they have to be contained. There has been no crust or odd discharge and she has been laying like normal. no extra fluff besides her usual fluff but this morning she has been doing this odd neck stretch, but I haven't looked much at wry neck information just yet,

This why she is drunk your feeding her human pedilyte you are drugging her you could kill her. Never use this on animals dangerous you probaly already done damaged on her. Keep feeding her this and shes gonna die she is already being chemical abused I know you did not intently do it but stop. You can by safe electrolytes for chickens in Tractor supply co.
This. No. Not true.

Can you provide more information?
How old is she?
What does she eat?
Look inside her ears for infection, look her over for lice/mites?
Do you have Marek's in your flock?
Could she have eaten anything toxic or moldy?

Electrolytes are fine to give, but I would appreciate you giving more information about not giving this to animals and why it is dangerous. Links to articles/journal entries would be great! Thanks :)

Not this type of electrolytes only the ones meant for chickens which you could find at TSC. Now the one she is using is dnagerous search it up and read the ingredients :) All these posinous acids that are safe for humans but not chickens.
