I have a feeling 5 out of 7 are boys...Opinions needed!

So, 5 out of 7 of my EE chicks have longer/thicker legs and a more upright stance. Boys? Two of those 5 also have significant comb development, so I'm thinking those two at least are definitely boys. They are 3 wks old. What are your thoughts?

Ginger - Tall/upright with comb development

Betty - Tall/upright with comb development

Greta - Tall/upright, little comb development

Phoebe - Tall/upright, little comb development

Mavis - Lower carriage, little comb development

Clarice - Lower carriage, little comb development

Now, somehow I didn't get any pics of Delilah, but Delilah is a Barred Rock x BW Ameraucana and is getting barred feathers and has a white spot on the head, so that's 100% a cockerel, right?

I say the 1st 2 are roosters, the rest look like pullets.

Really?! That would be great. So, is body type/stance not very indicative? Because some of them strike such roosterish poses. But those first two are the only ones with red to their combs. I would be thrilled if Greta (3rd one) is a girl. She's quite friendly and curious! Her comb has grown some that past 2 days, and is getting a little color, but still isn't bright pink like the first two...Greta and Clarice are the two that fight over my affections when I stick my hand into the playpen. Clarice's comb is getting slightly pinkish. I would be heartbroken if she turned out to be a cockerel. She just looks so girly to me.

I'm no expert, but just for fun Phoebe looks roo-ish to me. Look at how sturdy those legs are?

The only two I see that for sure look like roos are bettie and ginger. As for your barred rock mix, if he/she follows barred rock patterning, then the spot being pretty solid-ish/compact would indicate girl, and the spot being fairly scattered would indicate boy.

Oh no! You think Clarice (last one) is a boy? Why is that?

Here's a shot of Greta's comb (#3). FWIW, she seems rooish to me, even without much comb development. She's big and leggy.

I was thinking my Barred Rock mix would be a sex link. So barred = roo. Solid dark = pullet. Correct?

Because of the slight redness in her comb, I may be wrong but that comb is too red for a pullet

So here's Delilah. Barred Rock x BW Ameraucana, I thought would produce a sex link. So white spot on head and barred feathers would mean it's a boy, right? Well, the barring here is really subtle. Does it even count? This chick is the smallest of the bunch, and has virtually no comb at all! So if it's a cockerel, it's a slow developing one...
