I have a fuzzy butt!

My little EE hatched! I'm so mad I missed it. He pipped last night and this morning no change. 1 hour later he's chilling in the incubator half-dry! LOL But I'm worried about the rest. There were 3 last night rocking, tapping and peeping and none of them have pipped or done anything. Is that normal?

Yes, they will usually pip internallly then rest for a while until they have the energy to pip the thick shell. Hope you have some more pips soon

Absolutely normal when they "quiet" down. Sometimes they will start to pip, you think they will never hatch; then you go do something else(dishes, laundry etc) and they are already out and half dry when you get back. It usually takes eggs from 1-3 days to hatch, some are just quicker than others. Good luck!

Got 2 more pips!! But the eggs that rolled and chirped last night are real quiet...hope they're ok!!

5 Pips, and the babies are asleep...but the pipping hasn't changed. ;( what to do...bored...excited...bored....excited
