I have a Growth...............

I have a growth too, it was diagnosed as a Pomeranian - all 5.5 lbs of it!

on the lap warmer. My chicken guard dog (10 lbs of menacing terrifying chichi) does that too and he tries to climb up my back between my back and the chair to sleep.

Okay I have to join in....As I type I have a 10 pound 5 ounce baby girl goat born today!!!!!! and she's on my lap.

We had triplets born on Dec. 19 (milk goats that is) and they weighed 4 pounds to 5 pounds each so you can amazed how shocked I am at this one's size. She is already bigger than any of them!

I had to help mom with birth as the baby was coming out feet first....Oh my....Mom was so exhausted. I was so glad I decided to camp out with her for the day. I awoke this morning after having dreamed that this was a feet first birth. I'm so glad I did and I had the dream. Hubby poo pooed me and the dream, but I just parked myself in the barn with a book and the midwife supplies.....Sometimes I need to respond to my hunches and dreams.

She's the biggest baby we've ever had on this place. I'll have to get pictures of her up tonight ( don't worry they are not the birthing place pics). I cannot believe God gave me the strength and presence to help the mom cause I'm squeamish. I want to name her Joy, but am still trying to come up with other possibilities. I've already got a chicken named Miracle, so I'll have to find a new name.

I'll take any suggestions.....I would like her name to start with a J, as her mother's name is Jasmine.

Well baby's crying.....it's time for another bottle!
