I have a lame hen and can not figure out the problem.

Can you post a clearer picture of her vent? Like, move the feathers out of the way and take a pic of the vent and feather shafts around it. It may require four hands, or wrap her in a towel and "sit" on her (hold her with your leg(s)) while one hand moves feathers and one take pictures. At least, that's what it takes for me. I don't think her issues are related to her vent, but an actual pic would help confirm.

Slipped tendon? Broken leg? Sprain?
She is not showing distress when I manipulate her legs. The suddenness of this is what confounds me.

Does her right foot look like bumblefoot to you?

Its almost like her hip is dislocated. Could a rooster do that?

Their area is an incline and they can fly a good distance down it. If this is the case, is this something a hen can recover from?

Your rooster *could*, but if he did, you can bet that it was not intentional. I'm more inclined to think she came off the perch or a branch in a bad way.
Ebony, I was cleaning her vent after a cage poop and noticed this. See how her right leg is dangling?

Some sort of injury. Is a vet an option? Might want an X-ray to determine if it's muscle, tendon, ligament or bone.
I have seen a slipped tendon cause that sort of thing in freshly hatched chicks, where they hold their leg back like that, but a break at the pelvis/femur could cause that too.
Is the area hot to the touch (hotter than her 'good' leg)?
Poor girl. That looks painful.

A vet does not appear to be an option, either totally booked or don't see chickens.

I am going to check with the wildlife rescue.

Have you seen recovery from such an injury?
