I have a mixed flock, but this one’s unique?

Could "I" be part Vorwerk chicken? They have dark heads and light bodies, but more of a black and buff combination.

The coloration of a vorwerk is gold and black. “I” has gold, black, and something that dilutes black to a lighter color. This is unique because, normally, when black is diluted, it doesn’t stay in the hackle feathers like it does in “I”.

I just put in more eggs into the incubator from my flock we’ll see in just a short bit if I get anything from these eggs that resemble her. Out of the 41 eggs in the incubator I think I had about 17 white eggs. Others were brown, green, buff and buff speckled. Fingers crossed

Just popping in to say with yellow legs and beak, I do not believe she is a Buff Orpington. She appears to be a Buff Plymouth Rock, or else a mix.

That could work too.

I am leaning toward Q being the sire to the pullet because of the slate legs. When Q is bred to light colored, ie a yellow or pearl legged hen he should statistically produce 50% light and 50% slate colored legs.

N has visibly pearl legs, but could be a carrier of slate and can pass slate on to 50% of his pullet offspring.

For the sake of simplicity I'm leaning toward Q being the sire.

So question? My eggs are hatching now. Will I need to wait 4-6 weeks for them to feather in more to tell if they look a lot like eagle?
