The coloration of a vorwerk is gold and black. “I” has gold, black, and something that dilutes black to a lighter color. This is unique because, normally, when black is diluted, it doesn’t stay in the hackle feathers like it does in “I”.Could "I" be part Vorwerk chicken? They have dark heads and light bodies, but more of a black and buff combination.

I just put in more eggs into the incubator from my flock we’ll see in just a short bit if I get anything from these eggs that resemble her. Out of the 41 eggs in the incubator I think I had about 17 white eggs. Others were brown, green, buff and buff speckled. Fingers crossed![]()
Just popping in to say with yellow legs and beak, I do not believe she is a Buff Orpington. She appears to be a Buff Plymouth Rock, or else a mix.
