We're hatching French Marans - two blue splash and one Black Copper. Here is the thing - I'm at work and my sister is home (she works from home) and she's IM'ing me!

Ok - the chick is completely out! Standing up and chiriping! I'm so upset I didn't get to see it!

Hopefully I'll get to see the other two this weekend!

Well we are egg-cited for you. Our were supposed to hatch Saturday.I told the wife to take a vacation day TODAY because this would be the day. And it was !!! We were four for four under our darling hen Alice....

I bet your day at work is DRAGGING !!!!!!!!!!

We have a cute Blue Splash Maran! I can't believe how short of a time it took for her to break out of the shell. We also have another BSM pip - nothing yet from the Black Copper.

How exciting!!!... I have ordered eggs from Gabbard Farms several times and done really well.. Julie is awsome~ two out of three so far is great!!......... Good Luck!.. Hope you get that Copper Black! Let us know!

We opened it up and it didn't even develop at all. We'll definitely try again later.
