I have a pip! Update: 7/7 out!

He made it! He made it! and was absolutely fine. Don't know why that shell seemed like it was bleeding. Weird. #6 is on it's way but still no pip from seven. I am soooo happy. Not bad for a first timer who did everything wrong. lol I am so happy... and ready for sleep.

Ok they are ruining the perfect homiostatis I had created in my hatcher. And one decided to fall asleep on my thermometer/hydrometer thingy. Lol They are starting to puff out. Number 6 seems to be taking a rest. He made a hole and I can see him move but he's still in the egg. Soon though I think he will be out. Best day ever.

Number 6.

Now if only number 7 would show some sign of life. Still only day 21. He could come along a little late. Still 6 out of seven ain't half bad. This was a really great experience. Can't wait to see home it continues. Lockdown number 2 has started today so hopefully by Wed. These guys will have some friends. Fuzzy pics soon to come. They have to get fuzzy first. lol

Awesome news!!! I got 12 chicks so far, 4 eggs left (no real sign of life but I'm leaving them alone) and 1 chick died after zipping (not sure what happened but I opened it up and the chick hadn't absorbed the yolk....) Anyway, I feel like 12/17 eggs so far is AWESOME. Congrats to you!! What a great day!!!

Finally got all 7.

Here are the 6 that are out of the incubator, well 4 of them anyway. lol. Moved them at 3 am because they were too hot. Humidity was at 78% and temp at 100.7 Didn't want to lower it too much with my last egg hatching. I pulled out a viewing window grabbed the darlings and put them in the brooder. They are soooo happy and all seem to be doing well. Even started eating and drinking. I have to keep mine covered with Chicken wire. I have too many indoor

Here is lucky number 7... so thought this guy was a goner. He seems to have some of his hatch gunk attached to part of the shell membrane though. Should I let it dry or detach him?
