Yeah if I was to put them in there I would definitely do that!I hung a screen curtain over the entry door to help keep them from flying out.

There are not snakes because I live it a neighborhood. I think the only possible predators are rats and possums.Be sure to predator-proof it, though. Are there snakes in your area? They can tunnel under the floor to get in.
There are still snakes. I lived across the street from a Brookshire's and found a 4 foot rat snake in my birdroom in one of the flight cages after eating several finches. There was a 5-6 foot one in the parking lot across from the university the other day. And last year there was one in somebody's office. lolThere are not snakes because I live it a neighborhood.
