If my BA Roo or my BJ bantam Roo breed with my splash marans hen would there be possible blue offspring? Hmmm, I'm thinking my BA has already paired up with her though. I'd really like to pair my Black Japanese bantam to her. My only dilemma with myself is that I don't want to interfere with my flocks natural balance. Either way I could get blue sexlinks from this hen right? Oh and my little BJB has paired up with my three huge BO sisters, will he be able to breed to these three? My Husband thinks he won't be able to. All replys are appreciated!

Splash x Black = 100% blue

So whatever your splash hen pairs with, as long as the bird doesn't have splash or blue in it as well, you'll get nothing but blue offspring.


As for size, nothing stops birds with size except of course a tiny hen and a huge rooster. (by that I mean a 6+ lb difference)
