I have a sick chick with an extremely swollen eye

Hi - i am a new chicken owner, i have a chick with an extremely swollen eye that is not getting better and it has not opened for a week.
It is Quarantined from the others, any advice. i am using a medicated topical cream I got from a feed store, not helping.....

Please share history of how you acquire bird and how s/he is housed, what age, what you are feeding so we can answer a little better.

I would probably cull him asap. Is s/he in quarantine? If not, please move there asap, if you plan to continue to treat. I also suggest you contact your poultry lab in your state to see if s/he could be brought in to see what the issue is/was to see if your other flock is in danger.
