I have a very stong dislike for the USPS! Grrrrrrrrrr!!! Update :(

The blame is with the post office.

The secondary blame is McMurray would not even try to help me find the box friday. The first girl was rude. The second was dumb. They both sounded far too young to even know anything about poultry.

has no clue about raising potatoes, or raising beef, but no one has a problem with that.

They just gave the standard, the package left on the INSERT DATE HERE, once it goes to the post office it is out of our controll.
How come everyone seems to accept the fact that EGGS being shipped is at the mercy of the PO, but chicks are not.​

I would have McMurray ship another box of chicks over night delivery and request insurance for $1000.00 I'm sure they will find the package within minutes before they would pay the money.

My heart isn't in it. I can't face a box of chick right now. This morning was sad. So very sad.

I know what you mean about the USPS. Last Feb. they called me to come to the PO and pick up my chicks. My husband returned with 4 boxes of 100 chicks each. I had only ordered 25. He looked like he was going to pass out. He said, what are going to do now? Obviously, these chicks aren't yours. I looked at the addresses (all local), opened the boxes (which was actually mail fraud), fed and watered all the chicks, and called the people on each box. I had that all done before the USPS even knew anything was wrong. While the USPS was stilling getting its head out of a dark hole, everyone was coming to my house to get their LIVE chicks. How much intelligence does it take to feed and water an animal?? O well, I am so sorry for your loss. What a waste! By the way, I did get a thanks from the post office and one from MM!

After reading all of this all I can say is I'm so so sorry.

I would have sent all the dead chicks back to them so they would of had to disposed of them. I'm sorry you had to do that.

I don't know how you can even be on here except this way we can give you our love and understanding.

I would be crying my eyes out. I hope tomorrow brings you a better day.
