I have a weird chick, what color is he?

In this picture he is the one on the right. Se how his back is unusually dark and his chest is orangish.

Does any one know what he is? He is dark than the other male chick, I have never seen one like him. Is he a spalding?
 
I havent a clue.. but just wanted to say.............. oh how adorable.. what were his/her~ parents???
and how old are they, did they come from your peafowl?

How old are your peas?

I have a hen i asked the same question about and was told she had low % spalding in her.

Your peas all look like hen even the ones with barring, so perhaps they have more spalding in them cause i belive young spaldings male and female have barring from a post i read here a while back.

Here is my hen she was hatched out in sept of last year see her brest feathers

Some low % Spalding hens have barring.

I just went outside to make sure I'm not the Moron ya think I am, I have a PURE Burmese hen guess what? BARRING on the wings also have a very low % (about half) Spalding hen guess what? BARRING on the wings........... makes me think its a hen.

They're kinda small for yearlings what did you feed them when they were growing?
