I have a welsummer chicken and i am having a hard time determining if it is a rooster or a hen

If it's the bird in your avatar, it's female. Looks like a cuckoo Marans and a Welsummer, both pullets. the gold laced Wyandotte I can't see well enough to say gender for sure.

I's a hen, but I'm thinking Brown Leghorn instead of Welsummer. The coloring is identical, but Leghorns are lighter bodied and more upright, plus they have the white earlobes.

You'll know for sure when she lays. Wellies lay a darker, terra-cotta colored egg. Leghorns are white eggers.

We have been so confused with this one, was supposed to be an americana but the breeder must have mixed up the chicks, so just figured out the breed now not sure of the sex.

Here it is as a chick, it is around 4 months old now

Brown Leghorn pullet. Males look much different.
