Thanks! I'm sure hoping it's pullet because the other 2 cockerels are getting dispatched this weekend. Lol
When you butcher them, check for testicles.
Either you find them, and are reassured that it really was a cockerel.
Or you do not find them, and you learn for next time.

Once when I had a batch of bantams that I wasn't sure about, I started by butchering the one with the biggest comb and worked my way down the line. When I found one with no testicles, I figured all the ones with even smaller combs must be female too (they were.)

Another updated pic of the supsected cochin roo! It is about 11 weeks old now. The only pic I could get at the moment. Wattles are definitely coming in now.
