I have silkies hatching on Saturday the 8th..hopefully 11

I have silkies hatching too on the 8th 9th, I kept putting them in. Then I have more hatching the next weekend.

I want so silkies but I am worried when it rains the coop I have gets muddy and they will get all yucky.

I'm wanting to get at a few silkies but would love to have some dark brown egg layers if I could find some hatching egg local.

do you see the dark spotted egg in my batch to the right? this is Coco maran, and they always disappoint. If you get a european coco maran, maybe, black copper marans is what you want. I bet even those are getting watered down. I mean the egg is pretty still.
