I have discovered - again - that I am not a city girl

We were going to meet up, but my whole family is down with a pretty bad virus. In fact, Emily and I didn't do anything for our 9 year anniversary yesterday.

Aww! Come on across the Bay Debi! You can come over and visit me. I don't even like SF and I live close by! I don't ever go into the city. Humid? hmmm. I guess by desert standards!

I figured if I didn't hear from you, it wouldn't work out.

I ate such a huge lunch I am not even hungry for dinner. I ordered a burger. What I got was a dry bun, a slab of meat and a slice of cheese.

Well I'm a city girl ...lol I miss it at times. the sounds and conveniences.
But I love where I am. Very rural like with lots of vegetation around, But humid. I grew up in a dry climate, and tumbleweeds .. I Made a Christmas tree out of them one year. lol

I live 26 miles south of Boston (which is really a small city in the grand scheme of things) and I am very happy I don't have to deal with it - I can go in if I want by train and I can leave and come back to my nice semi-rural home. I've never worked in there, I can't imagine having to deal with it on a daily basis, nevermind live in there!

The beauty about where I live is that everything is a 10 mile drive. I am not so isolated that I have nothing, but isolated enough to not have to deal with tons of people. I have never even seen 3 of my 4 neighbors. The only reason I have seen the others is because they feed their geese at the same time I feed the chickens.

Give me country life anyday over city life..... I was born and raised in the city... but always a country girl at heart......... so glad I got my wish for rural life come true............
