I have now talked to my mum about the vet. My mum and gran both said no about the vet as it costs too much money, for just one hen.

thanks for the linkHere is some info on chickens crop...you can feel it right above their breast. It will feel soft and squishy like when full and should be empty first thing in the morning if it is working correctly. If the crop is hard it may be impacted. With water coming out of it's beak could be sour croup..this has some good info. Good luck
