I have my first baby! Updated with pics!

The humidity jumped a bit when the chick hatched, from 65% to 77%. Is that normal? I'm in the process of venting a bit of the moisture off, without opening the bator. I don't want to drown him.

You're doing great- just keep venting the humidity a bit, without opening the 'bator.

Congratulations!

Also, another question. If this little one hatched at day 19, and they only have 2-3 days food supply, do I still leave him in there? If the others hatch at day 21, plus time to dry, wouldn't that be too long for this one?

And I don't have much hope in the banty egg. It's been 42 hours now since pip,

I don't think I'm hearing anything from it, (it's hard to hear over chirps). I've decided not to help any as I want a healthy flock, and the temp and humidity were fine. I'll still have hope for a little while longer though.
