I have my own little farm with a flock of chickens. I love these friends of mine.
(1)Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
At least 3 years
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 12 chickens.

(3) What breeds do you have?
I have Rhode Island Reds
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I have always wanted to be more self-sufficient.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I have lots of other hobbies. I love to knit, read, and garden to name a few. I would love to live a bigger piece of land and have more space to raise more chickens and have a big garden.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a Labrador, and a kitten all the time. I love them so much.

I'm also a fan of Rhode Island Reds. One of my original hens was an RIR who loved to scratch in anything and everything, which earned her the name Ginger Rogers.

I hope you someday get more land and more chickens, of course!
