Well, if that isn't the best news I've heard all day!! They are so much bigger than the rest of my chicks.

And they are EEs, aren't they?

They don't "have" EE in them as there is no such actual thing as a breed of EE. They are mutts. They "are" EE's. You can tell by the green legs.

EE's don't necessarily lay blue or green eggs. They can range in color from pink to brown to blue to green and any shade. My EE's look exactly like the ones picture here. Not all EE's have muffs, since they are mutts. They get different genes depending on what their parents were. I have 6 EE's and 2 of them don't have muffs.



So, yes, I'd say wait until they lay to know for sure, but with the green legs and the coloring, it's a dead giveaway that they are EE's.
