Are the eggs yours/local, or shipped? I just hatched some shipped eggs and they were all kinds of amorphous. Maybe this one saw some early trauma? If it's moving, it's probably okay for the moment. Unclear whether it will make it to hatch, but it doesn't hurt to wait and give it a chance, as long as it keeps moving.

They're local eggs! But you're right, it couldve been sloshed around by hens early on. I'll let yall know if it quits or makes it! Thank you!

I actually handled the rest and there are 2 or 3 eggs like this. I didnt see overt movement in them and didnt want to slosh em more. I'll candle again before lockdown and we'll see how they fare for hatch! Will post pics along the way

What position are they in during incubation? It might be a good idea to keep them upright (fat end up) and candle them upright until lockdown, and put them in egg cartons fat end up at lockdown, too. Just in case they're having issues orienting themselves because they're already in an odd position.

Could you explain this process to me more? They're laying on their side and I use a nurture right incubator. I think I could put them in a carton now, and keep it that way after lockdown but how would it hatch? And would I need to turn the eggs myself a few times a day, since the turner wont work properly? I'm worried that say I cut out a little carton and put it back standing you, when the turner slides the rest of the eggs, itll just knock the carton over. Also, now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder if these specific eggs arent rotating correctly. The eggs are quite small and I wonder if instead of being turned, sometimes they're just being slid.
