I wish they stayed this small forever. They could live in my bathtub forever, I don't mind . I can't wait to see them as beautiful hens though..... it's so rewarding seeing chicks you raise grow into adults

I put a sprinkle of feed on the brooder plate and boy they think it's just the most amazing thing ever. They are all pecking it right now.

Same thing happened to me. I promised myself I would never raise chicks again but here we are! Me and my friend went to TSC to just “look at the chicks” and at first we walked out with none.. but then we went back and got four! i’ll say he pressured me into it lol. After i came home with the four, my mom just couldn’t resist and went to our normal breeder and got two more (rather ugly) silkies. I definitely wasn’t ready for six more chickies but oh well! Here’s some pictures of them with their names in order! they’re about a week old now i assume.

-RJF(doesn’t have a name yet) she was supposed to be an EE but they had RJF and i’m pretty sure we got a RJF lol
-Stew or gravy the buff orpington
-The ugliest of them all, my moms silkie (doesn’t have a name yet)
-Beef the buff orpington
-Another no name silkie
-and Pepper the brahma!
All are females except the silkies and RJF, they’re straight runs

That last pic looks just like my Salmon Fav a week or so ago. Mine are 3 1/2 weeks old. 5 toes?
