I Have New Feathered Family Members!

My husband wanted ducks and we made a deal. If he got them, I'd get my geese.
I got his ducks (8 of them) in May. On Saturday I got my goslings! Three Toulouse!







On Sunday they stayed out in the rain storm we had and didn't get into their dogloo. So, I brought them in the house and curled up with them on the couch for a while. My husband came into the livingroom and felt he needed to tell me they were not my babies. Yes they are. Mine. They peep at and follow me. All MINE!​

They aren't quite what I wanted. I was hoping for Pilgrims but Toulouse was a 2nd pick. Since it's late in the year for them, I decided it was fate. Otherwise I was going to have to wait until next year. I needed some weed and snake control - geese are perfect!

If my Embden sees a snake he throws his wings out and runs. kinda like he does when the rooster goes after him.
