I have no egg turner,is it ok to open the bator every day to turn them

I have 20 RIR eggs that need to go in the bator and I don't own an egg turner so I was wondering if it would be okay if I opened the incubator every day to turn them? this will be our first "big" hatch and I want these to live because we wanted to start getting some eggs and are probabaly going to sell some of them at a swap meet coming up later in the year. so whats your opinion on it??

You will be fine. Mama hen gets off her eggs everyday to eat, drink and poo. Some people even say they get better hatches by opening bator days 1-18 for a little since it lets in fresh air.

as said above, just keep the door closed from day 18 thru hatch!

you need to turn them aat least 3 times a day. I have done it lots of times before i got egg turners and they hatched just as well
