Ducklings do now wear watches...lol...I think you have another 24 hours to go...First they internally pip...Then they pip externally..First one circular crack in the egg and then they rest hours..Then the make another pip hole right next to that one and rest hours...Then they will pop their bills out and wobble the egg around...They yawn lots and rest..That means they are still absorbing the yolk...Then they start zipping out and that process can either be quick or take over an hour....

Then 2 more hours, then 2 more.... etc. etc...

Just fyi, it will likely bang around, make a few more bumps on the shell before it actually begins it full zip. Don't panic. Give it time to do its thing. Just make sure you can hear it peep, every so often, or see some type of movement.

Pretty exciting huh! Honestly, in my 50+ years on this planet, I have yet to find very many things cuter than a freshly hatched duckling.

I have 9 eggs in my incubator and one has piped....It never gets boring...Its always exciting....
It's the waiting that takes so long....I hate waiting too..
Your baby might be out by this evening if he progresses fast?....
